All in all, it was a fantastic weekend and I had a wonderful time. Saying hi to all my friends (new and old) made this weekend even more special. Thank you!

I want to clarify Jared's answer about doing cons next year.

Short answer:
It has not been ruled out. Nothing has been organised and it will depend on how it will fit around their work schedules.

Long answer:
At the cocktail party I asked Jared about the rumours going around that Jensen and himself were not going to do conventions in 2010. He said that they were contracted to do a couple more this year - Vancouver and Asylum for sure, maybe Chicago? - but nothing else was planned. They love doing cons and interacting with the fans so they have not ruled out doing more by any means. It all depends on their work schedules.

They also LOVE coming down to Australia which is good news for us! We also spoke about Supanova last year and it is unlikely that either of them would attend one again. They were both asked to come down for the Supernova cons this year but Jared didn't like the way it was handled last year so they turned it down. Unfortunately, in my opinion I think that this con was mismanaged MUCH worse than Supanova ever was. Hell, it was worse than Creation (but not worse than the Eyecon Cruise - that was horseshit and I lost out on a grand).

Huh, I got a bit off topic there. Conventions in 2010, right. If it was me and I was offered the choice of a 3 month movie shoot or TV series versus fan conventions, the common sense choice is to go where the work is. They act, they love acting and it is their job. Conventions are not going to be their bread and butter for, hopefully, a very long time. It is something they do when they get the chance and because they are nice guys. These boys deserve all the success in the world and a dozen conventions a year won't bring that to them.

...I have just noticed that all of my posts from the weekend were automatically friends locked which is interesting. I have many little anecdotes and quotes I want to tell about Misha and Jared and Jensen and Danneel (who was awesome, haters can kiss my ass) but it will have to wait until tomorrow. I will clean it up, add more tidbits and make the post public once I have the chance - after getting some sleep!

I was planning on cleaning up my posts from the weekend, catch up on my flist, friend a whole bunch of people and write out a list tonight. Unfortunately, I am only awake enough to do a couple of those.

proofpudding's gorgeous new vid "The Epic Love Story Of Sam and Dean" is very aptly named.

These are the boys who I love so much. It brought tears to my eyes and made me feel all warm a gooey inside. Absolutely beautiful use of colour, clips and audio bites. *melts*
