| ABOUT ME My name is Amanda and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I am single and the proud owner of the most gorgeous Sydney Silky Terrier in the world. In real life, the filter between my brain and my mouth is almost non-existent which gets me into trouble sometimes. Online I am a lot less crazypants as I tend to edit a lot of what I say. I'm trying to work on that but my brain moves so fast that sometimes even my mouth can't keep up with it, let alone my fingers. I'm cheerful, friendly and loyal but since it is my journal I will occasionally use it to vent my frustrations whenever they come to pass. I swear like a sailor most of the time so if you have something against curse words, this is not the journal you are looking for. I also have a tendency to put things off (like replying to comments!) unless I give myself a hard deadline. So I apologise in advance for any comments you don't get answered straight away! |

| MY SHOWS Currently airing: Supernatural, Chuck, Merlin, Psych, NCIS, Leverage, The Big Bang Theory, Spicks and Specks, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Bones, New Doctor Who, Dollhouse, Dexter, Torchwood and plenty more that I can't think of right now! Shows that have passed on: Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Dark Angel, Roswell, The West Wing, The X-Files, Veronica Mars and Tru Calling. The main fandoms I read are Supernatural (Gen and slash), Supernatural RPS (J2) and Merlin (Merlin-Arthur). 98% of my fic reading time is devoted to this but I will venture into other fandoms if a rec pops up on my flist. In Supernatural/Supernatural RPS fandom I will rarely read het unless the fic is really good or by an author I trust. Don't be offended if I don't read your fics, I have little spare time as it is and I have a very strict vetting process for my fic-to-read list. |
